Dr. Freed is a licensed psychologist in Oregon and Texas. He has special expertise in neuropsychology and has been licensed as a psychologist for more than 10 years. Dr. Freed has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics and hospital settings. He is well known for his compassionate and professional manner with a wide variety of patients. Dr. Freed is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Oregon and earned his Ph.D. from MIT in Behavioral Neuroscience. He was first licensed in Texas as a clinical psychologist in 1993 and as a school psychologist in 1997. He was licensed in Oregon as a clinical psychologist in 2001.

Dr. Freed officially opened his private practice office in October 2005. He previously worked as the Chief of Psychology at Oregon State Hospital for 5 years and briefly served as Interim Superintendent. While in Texas, Dr. Freed served as Associate Professor in the TTUHSC Department of Neurology and founded the Alzheimer’s Disease Education Project. Dr. Freed worked at University of Southern California for 4 years in the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.
